New “Red Sparrow” Poster & Photos

20th Century Fox has released five new photos, a new poster and a new TV spot for Francis Lawrence’s “Red Sparrow,” the new spy thriller starring Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence plays a Russian prima ballerina who, after an accident ends her career, faces a bleak and uncertain future until she’s recruited into a secret intelligence service that trains exceptional young people like her to use their bodies and minds as weapons.

After enduring the perverse and sadistic training process, she emerges as the most dangerous ‘Sparrow’ the program has ever produced. She must now reconcile the person she was with the power she now commands. She must also deal with an American CIA agent who tries to convince her he is the only person she can trust.

Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, Mary-Louise Parker and Jeremy Irons co-star in the film which opens in cinemas on March 2nd. The film’s full trailer is slated to go online tomorrow.
